CP1-mt.jpg (59908 bytes)

Ferrovia Elettrica Trento-Male
CP1 was stored in the siding at Mezzocorona Borgata Station on Sunday September 16th, 2001. It was sandwiched between 2 small freight cars and the balating work cars. The FTM website (in Italian) mentions that this unit was used in conjunction with ET007 & ET008 in the mid 1970s. It originally came from the Ferrovia Mantova-Peschiera and was regauged from standard gauge to metre gauge.

ET07-8-mt.jpg (61234 bytes)

Ferrovia Trento-Male
On the ride into Trento I had noticed that we passed the workshops of the FTM just before arrival.
On the return I attempted to get photos as we passed. Next to the running line was a catenary work car and behind was either ET07 or ET08. These were the 1955 3 car units purchased from the SFD and regauged from 950mm to 1 metre.

Sunday September 16th, 2001. The headquarters building of the FTM in Trento. Note the large historic poster on the side of the building. The platforms are to the right. The doors in the centre of the structure lead to the waiting rooms. My visit was on the last day of the June 10-September 16 timetable.
