Unusual and unespected transit on track 2 at San Giorgio di Piano BO Station on 12/09/2025: a composition of simmetric double traction with locos E.652 wth two badly garffitted diagnostic coaches of the Aldebaran 2.0 diagnostic train. On duty or just a transfer? The leading loco is RFI Rete Ferroviaria Italiana E.652-040 (NVR 91 83 2652 040-3 I-MIR) still in faded and graffitted XMPR color scheme, the loco at the rear is E.652-170 and the two coaches in between (difficult to identify them...) should be unit 99611 (NVR 61 83 99-90 034-8 Vvlc) and unit 99610 (NVR 61 83 99-90 049-6 Vpmis). Here the 99610 coach.

FS Track Inspection Car "Euclide".
I was riding the 10:08 Venezia S Lucia to Adria train of the FAM on Tuesday morning September 18th, 2001. Approaching Mestre station we were stopped by a red signal and I saw this car hauled by E444.045 stopped by a red on the other track.

FS Track Inspection Car "Euclide".
This car was riding on 6 wheel trucks and had an observation window in the end as well as lookouts on the side. Near to the stripe at the other end is lettering which reads "INFRASTRUTTURA, Centro Diagnostico Nazionale, Geometria Binario" which I take to mean "Infrastructure, National Diagnostic Centre, Trackwork Geometry ".
