These cars are part of the multitask train of the 1st Batallion of Italian Army Railway Engineer Corps (Primo Battaglione del Reggimento Genio Ferrovieri dell'Esercito Italiano). The train involves a hospital, generator and water-potabilizing units and other equipments necessary to provide logistic support to the troops or perform civilian population rescue duties in case of disaster.
