06/05/2023: Open day at Pistoia DORS (Deposito Officina Rotabili Storici - Depot and repair shop for Historical rolling stocks), managed by "Fondazione FS". Fondazione FS Italiane looks after and manages the Italian State Railways’ vast historic heritage: it oversees a fleet of over 400 pieces of historic rolling stock, around 200 of which are in full working order. It also oversees the archives and libraries, both the Pietrarsa and the Trieste Campo Marzio Museums as well as some dedicated Depots (like Pistoia DORS). Beutifully restored snowplug Vnx 806-211. Between 1963 and 1966 some three-phases Electric Locos of the E.550 Class were equipped with snowplug to become Vnx 210-222. Sometimes tehreafter, snow plug equipped E.550 was also demotorized and re-numbered in the series Vnx 806-210-222.

This car is part of a group of 15, obtained by transformation of as many three-phase electric locomotives class E550 retired from service. Vnx 806.213 is the former E550 068, built by Westinghouse in 1913.
