The Nakhichevan-Baku railway line near Meghri, Shunyik region, Armenia.07.08.2012.
This railway line runs near the border of Armenia and Iran. Because of the conflict beetwen Armenia and Azerbaijan, there is no traffic at all on this line. As the 30km's long armenian section of this line is not connected to other railways of Armenia, and leads trough a very sparely populated area, near the border, this section is totally useless for Armenia. That's why most of the railway infrastructure was dismantled.
