| Indian Railways electric locomotive WAP5 30001. The first Indian locomotive with 3-phase AC traction, introduced 1995. Ten WAP5 were built by ABB in Switzerland and can be recognized by their corrugated sidewalls. They have Henschel Flexifloat bogies and are electronically similar to the SBB Re 460 built at the same time. 4474 kW, 160 km/h. These locomotives are primarily used on the fastest Shatabdi trains.
