Nilgiri Mountain Railway X 37385 metre gauge Abt system cogwheel
locomotive built 1920 by SLM Winterthur. 17 locomotives of this
type were built 1914 to 1952 by SLM, most are still in service
on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway (only rack railway in India). In
2011 four new locomotives were built according to the same basic
design, but oil-fired with newer components.
