ISR diesel #212 is the only such switcher left in Israel – most, if not all of the rest were scrapped recently. #212 was built by the MF Esslingen in Germany in 1955. A heavy, sturdy engine, it led a life of shunting coaches and wagons in Haifa before entering the ISR museum at Haifa-East station. A lovely switcher by all means.
