Hand-written timetable inside ZC (Zoesen Chelto, railway of the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea) sleeping car Moskva - Pyongyang (via Chasan - Tumangan). The timings are not the newest and it seems that RZD had not yet told ZC that the train runs via Nishnij Novgorod instead of Jaroslavl since 2001.
This sleeping car is attached to train no. 2 (Moskva - Vladivostok) twice monthly - on the 11th and 25th. According to the conductors it was
built in 1983 in the DPRK. I went in this sleeping car from Moskva to Usole-Sibirskoe. As it can only be used with tickets for a cross-border trip, I used a
City-Star ticket Devinska Nova Ves - Ussuriisk (issued in Slovakia), an additional ticket Ussuriisk - Tumangan and a reservation
Moskva - Tumangan (both issued in Russia). In the car I was the only passenger with other (Austrian) than DPRK citizenship...
