North Korea: Diesel locomotive at Tanchon station on the main-line Tumangan - Chongjin - Kilchu - Hamhung - Kovon - Sunchon - Pyongyang. Photo taken from train 8 (Tumangan - Pyongyang). This line is used by the twice-monthly Moskva - Khabarovsk - Khasan - Tumangan - Pyongyang sleeping car. Alltough this line into North Korea is officially not open for tourists, I and a friend of mine travelled this way to Pyongyang in september 2008.
