Syria 27.9.2008: The chaotic conditions inside the carriage workshop at Cadem did show evidence of active restoration underway on several wooden-bodied coaches, so although no-one would commit as to why such work was being done, might it just be a small ray of hope for the future….? 

Of great interest at extreme right is the 4-wheel De Dion trailer formerly attached to the now unique De Dion-Bouton petrol railcar No.ACM3, seen earlier, out of use at Dera’a.
