Ticket Buchara 1 - Navoj, bought at Buchara 1 station (Uzbekistan). Departure on 22nd september 2005 at 18:45 with train 661 (overnight train to Tashkent), carriage no. 2, place 7.
As the trip was short (only about 2 hours to Navoj) we travelled in a obshyj-carriage.

Handwritten ticket Navoj - Urgench (Uzbekistan), issued at Navoj station (Uzbek railways). Departure on 23rd september 2005 with train 56 (Tashkent - Urgench) at 0:06,
carriage 8, "mesto ukazyvaet provodnik" (plazkartnyj; no place number indicated, conductor will provide bed).
We came from Buchara with another train, but it was not possible to get the onward ticket to Urgench there.
So we bought it during the 3-hour-layover at Navoj station. Also there the ticket was only sold one hour before departure, appearently after the train left the previous station,
so that the number of free places is known (Navij station does not have a computerised ticket office).

Handwritten ticket Turtkul (Uzbekistan) - Atzyrau (Kazakhstan), issued at Turtkul station (Uzbek railways).
Departure on 25th september 2005 with train 331 (Tashkent - Saratov) at 13:24.
Turtkul station doesn't have a computerised ticket counter, so issuing the ticket took some time:
First the ticket clerk had to phone to Tashkent (or somewhere else) to check availability of free places,
then he had to find out the price from a huge book full of fare tables (seperately for ticket and reservation)...
Price (1580 UZS ~ 1 EUR): 12111 UZS for the ticket, 13793 UZS for the reservation (platskartnyj carriage), 3582 UZS for the insurance and a commission of 25000 UZS....
