Vietnam Railways diesel locomotive D9E-252. This is a General
Electric type U8B built from 1963 and delivered to South
Vietnam in 48 units originally numbered BB907 to BB954. After
reunification 1975 renumbered to D9E-207 to 254. Nowadays they
also operate into the north, the photo was taken at midnight
in Dong Hoi, in very dim light. The locomotive was coupled to
the D13E-725 with a freight train. 2014-05-11.
