D 370 Praha - Bonn / Amsterdam. The train consists of the locomotive CD 371 003-5, three DBNachtZug cars to Bonn-Bad Godesberg: a sleeping-car WLABmh175, a couchette car Bcvmz248.3 and a compartment/bicycle car Bomdz236.9, and two NS cars to Amsterdam: a couchette car Bcm (ex DB) and a sleeping-car type T2S without any NS markings, still with the obsolete TEN inscription. This sleeping-car has 17 small two-bed compartments (the windows on the other side are smaller). Dresden Hbf, track 4, 2001-03-10.

NS couchette car ex TUI FerienExpress Bcvmz in the D 371 to Praha in Dresden Hbf. The TUI FerienExpress was a comfortable night train to tourist destinations in the 1980s, but as it only operated in holiday seasons, it was not profitable, so it stopped operating and the comfortable carriages with 5-bed couchette compartments were sold to the NS. 2001-06-27.

NS sleeping-car type MU, No. 61 84 72 71 317-0 4747. It is painted in the latest NS livery for sleeping-cars (dark blue with yellow line and inscription "Slaaprijtuig * Schlafwagen * Voiture-lits"). It has no red lights, but instead two fold-up red/white end-of-train plates (compare to my photo of the 4758, which has no such plates and needs separate EOT signals). Train D 370 Praha - Amsterdam, Dresden Hbf, track 5, 2001-07-11.

NS sleeping-car type MU, No. 61 84 72-71 328-7, unofficial CIWL number 4758, in the train 370 Praha - Amsterdam, seen from the end with no doors. As you can see, this sleeping-car has no red tail lights, so before the train departs, a red/white reflecting plate marking the end of the train has to be put up at the end. Dresden Hbf, 2000-12-12.

Sleeping-car 61 14 70-90 202-8 2002 (Type MUs, 200 km/h, RIC, 26.4 m). These cars are owned by the CIWL and were previously rented to the NS, for the "OverNightExpress" Amsterdam - Milano. They are now in service for the ÖBB, but still have all original inscriptions, including the NS logo. The number has been changed; the "14" stands for CIWL cars not in the park of any national railways (before the 1970s this would have been "66"). Train EN 246 "West-Kurier" from Wien. This bogie is derived from the Y32 bogie of SNCF Corail cars, with a pneumatic suspension as the most important change. It is equipped with magnetic rail brakes for 200 km/h top speed.
