Between 29th January 2001 and 2nd July 2001 the line Zutphen - Oldenzaal (series 7200) was cut at Hengelo. The 7200 series between Zutphen and Hengelo was run with DM90 DMUs, while the service between Hengelo and Oldenzaal (17200) was run by a Plan U DMU.
Plan U 116 arrives at Hengelo as train 17266 (Oldenzaal - Hengelo).

Between 29th January 2001 and 2nd July 2001 the line Zutphen - Oldenzaal (series 7200) was cut at Hengelo. The 7200 series between Zutphen and Hengelo was run with DM90 DMUs, while the service between Hengelo and Oldenzaal (17200) was run by a Plan U DMU.

Since the Timetable, the DE 3 (Plan U) trains are withdrawn from service, and now owned by
NS Financail services. (doughter company of NS reizigers).
Here you see one of those trains in the snow.

**** RECTIFICATION****
You can find some photo's here off Plan U trainsets at Haarlem. I wrote that these trains were ready for the scrapheap. This is NOT TRUE. Last week someone of the "Haalem Ijmuiden spoorweg maatschappij"(HYSM) contacted me that these Plan u TRAINS ARE OWNED BY THIS NEW RAILWAY COMPANY. The are withdrawn from service by the NS, but two of them are still alive and waiting for their furst Museum railway passengers. Now about the picture: A HYSM plan U at the Depot Haarlem. Plan U will operate a local train to Apeldoorn, and Plan V will operate a local train to Arnhem-Utrecht.
