Locomotive 1646 with IR 2343 at Wierden on the 11th of January 1999. Since January 1999 the 58 1600 locomotives where divided over NS-Cargo (1601-1637) and NS-Reizigers for passengers (1638-1658). The latter will be renumbered into 1800 series.
