Starting with the new 2003/2004 timetable, the train series 3000 (Den Helder - Nijmegen) was run by (V)IRM double deck EMUs. Consequently, the ICM (Koploper) EMUs disappered from the 3000 series. 
4230 + 4045 as train 3049 (Den Helder - Nijmegen).
