2nd-class interior of a double-deck IRM EMU of NS-Reizigers.
This trailer is part of a subsequent order, placed in 2000 with a view to extending original formations by 1 car. Unlike the original trailers of 1994/1995, it features a vast majority of airline-style seating, furthermore with better covers. Vlissingen. 18th December 2005.

Since 20/10/2003 NS trainset 8498 has these screens which show travel information (the next station, delays, etc.). In addition news, sportsnews, entertainment, cinema news etc is displayed. Also note that this train is not yet non-smoking. The sticker beside the display says "Ik ben Fleischmann machinist' (I am a Fleischmann train driver).
