NSM - The Netherlands
The Dutch National Railway Museum (Nederlands Spoorwegmuseum) is located in the former Maliebaan station at Utrecht and can be reached with an hourly train from Utrecht Centraal.
War Department locomotive 70269 was built for the British military forces in 1944 and operated in France, Belgium and Germany. It was sold to NS in 1946 and became NS 508. The locomotive came to the museum in 1975 and was repainted and renumbered into WD 70269 for the "Sporen naar het Front" exhibition in 2013.
