NS - The Netherlands "Multi Event" in Blerick near Venlo provided a rare opportunity to view museum trains that are normally hidden inside depots. Electric trainset 252 was built for the Dutch Railways (NS) in 1938. It was preserved after withdrawal in 1968. In 2009 the National Railway Museum took over the trainset from STIBANS. The outside of the trainset has been restored in Germany. Restoration of the interior is still going on. Blerick, 09-06-2018 Digital photo by Marco van Uden |
