RTM-Ouddorp - The Netherlands
RTM-Ouddorp operates former RTM stock (1067mm gauge) on a newly built line
between Ouddorp and Port Zélande, some 50km southwest of Rotterdam.
The original RTM operated steam and diesel trams on the islands of the
South Holland province, and in Zealand. Starting point was the Rosestraat
in Rotterdam. The operation of trams ended in 1967, but soon afterwards a
museum company started in Hellevoetsluis. Some years ago this moved to the
current line with depot in Ouddorp. The line is being extended from Port
Zélande to the south, and the final goal is to reach Renesse, a famous
holiday resort in the Zealand province.
In the picture is an overview with the main line in front, with depot building,
diesel and steam trams in the back.
