The Plan U DMUs were refurbished at Tilburg and Haarlem. The 766 was used to transport the units between both workshops.
766 + 119 as train 82110 (Tilburg - Haarlem).

On the 8th April 2003, the 766 ran a number of regular passenger trains on the Hoek van Holland line as a farewell for a train driver. 766 as train 4151 (Hoek van Holland Strand - Rotterdam Centraal). Poortershaven, Tuesday 8th April 2003.

On the 16th May 2003, the 766 ran two regular passenger trains on the Den Haag - Gouda line as a farewell for a train driver. 766 as train 9842 (Gouda Goverwelle - Den Haag Centraal). Zoetermeer, Friday 16th May 2003.

NedTrain Amsterdam Zaanstraat workshop open day
Historic trainset 766 of Stichting Hondekop-4 shoud have operated the shuttle trains between Amsterdam Central Station and the workshop, but this was not possible due to a small electrical defect. It was on display at the workshop instead.

NS - The Netherlands
Museum trainset 766 (Mat'54) of the Stichting Hondekop-4 has recently been repainted in its original green colour. On 8 December it operated a special run together with trainset 273 (Mat'46) of the National Railway Museum from Utrecht to Enschede.

Open Day 100 years workshop Leidschendam
Trainset 766 owned by Stichting Mat'54 Hondekop-4 has recently been repainted in the yellow colour, especially for a movie about the hijacking of such a trainset in the 1970s. This side shows the "normal" front as we all remember it. To the right is diesel trainset 121 now being looked after by HIJSM.
