Locomotive of the Stoomtram Hoorn-Medemblik. Stoomtrams are interurban tramlines where the motive power was a steam engine. Like tramlines signaling was not usually employed. The couplers were also more tram-like. A single centrally located buffer was used. This locomotive now has train-style buffers, but the orginal buffer is still in place in the middle.
