Locomotive 1251 has a long history. It entered service in 1952 as NS number 1215. After its long service for NS it was sold in 1999 to ACTS and operated for freight trains until 2009. It entered service for EETC in 2010 but dit not operate many trains.
In 2017 Fairtrains took over the management of this locomotive (which is now privately owned) and it was hired to Railexperts as spare for their class 1600 locomotive.
1251 was repainted into the ACTS colours. It is seen in the picture stabled in Amersfoort on a winter morning.

RXP - The Netherlands
Electric locomotive 1251 (former NS 1215) has been repainted into the "ACTS" livery it carried after its career for NS. This locomotives is used for spare duties and can often be seen stabled in Amersfoort.

In September 2020 RXP took over several electric locomotives of class 1600 from DB Cargo, that took them out of service a few months ago. Locomotives 1616 and 1611 (still in DB Cargo red livery) are seen stored in Amersfoort.

Former East German diesel locomotive 201 093 has been in The Netherlands for many years. Recently it was reinstated and repainted in the original colours. It is now used by Railexperts operating from Amersfoort. The locomotive is owned by VEB Tractie.

Locomotive 6002, originally from Czech industry and of type V60-Ost (DB class 346), was once used by ACTS, Shortlines, Volkerrail and EETC. It has now been repainted in a blue livery for RXP, which will offer the locomotive for hire.

Locomotive 6002 has now been finished in the old ACTS livery with a yellow band and a number plate. The logo shows that this shunter will be hired to HSL Nederland B.V.

RXP diesel shunter 6004 (a former GDR type V60D locomotive) is seen shunting in Amersfoort. The locomotive is currently hired to HSL Netherlands for shunting and operating car trains between Amersfoort and Leusden (PON).

RXP is the fourth owner of locomotive 6703, after NMBS (Belgium, class 62), ACTS/HUSA, LOCON and now RXP. It was recently repainted into the "ACTS" livery. The locomotive is now sometimes used for car trains to Leusden Pon. It is seen stabled in Amersfoort in between two former NS class 1600 locomotives.

Railexperts - The Netherlands
In June 2017 Railexperts, a relatively new open-access passenger train operating company, bought its first locomotive. RXP 9901 was bought second-hand from LOCON. Originally this locomotive was a member of NS class 1600.

"Multi Event" in Blerick near Venlo provided a rare opportunity to view museum trains that are normally hidden inside depots.
Former freight operating company LOCON bought several electric locomotives class 1600 from NS. After its bankruptcy, Railexperts bought one of them, with operating number 9901.

Rail Days 2023 - Open Day at Alstom (former Shunter) maintenance workshop in the port of Rotterdam.
Railexperts electric locomotive 9902 is former NS electric locomotive 1616 (91 84 1001 616) and was bought from DB. It still wears the DB Cargo livery.

In May 2021 Railadventure from Germany acquired a majority stake in Railexperts (RXP) from The Netherlands. One locomotive was immediately stickered in the Railadventure livery and hauled a new NS ICNG class trainset from the border to Amsterdam.
RXP 9903 (former NS 1611) in Railadventure livery is seen stabled in Amersfoort on 13 May 2021.

RXP 9903 (former NS 1611) in Railadventure livery is seen stabled in Amersfoort on 13 May 2021. It is surrounded by other old/historic trains, like a German V60D and V100 locomotive and a trainset Mat'64.

A "living railway museum" seen in Amersfoort. An East German V60D, Dutch class 1600, Belgian Reeks 62, and Dutch class mP mail motor car. All withdrawn by the operators that ordered them. But still operational and used by RXP (nrs. 6004, 9903 and 4673) or preserved by 2454 Crew (mP nr. 3029).
