The Norwegian intercity network is rather small; limited to the connections Skien-Oslo-Lillehammer (374 kilometres) and Oslo-Halden (137 kilometres). In general, Emus of class 70 and 73B are used in the service, but some trains hauled by locomotives are also in service, especially in the rush hour. This picture shows the 15.30 departure from Oslo to Halden, as it passes Langhus on a beautiful day in July 2002. The train are hauled by NSB class El 18.2258.
