Intercity train hauled by Norwegian State Railways El 18 in the harbour area south of Oslo a nice summer afternooon of 1999. The train is bound for Halden at the Swedish border; 137 kilometres far south.
The coaches behind the locomotive mainly belong to the class of B 5. These were delivered in the late seventies, with comfortable, reclining seats that could be turned into the driving direction. Unfortunately, this last facility has been removed for some odd reason. Photo by Leif-Harald Ruud (leif-harald.ruud@skreditt.no; http://home.online.no/~leifharr)
