An airport express of the class 71 speeds up through the eastern part of central Oslo 13.05.01. The first 1500 metres eastwards from Oslo Central Station, the trains run on an elevated track with dwellers on both sides, which has resulted in a lot of local protests; demanding the government of Oslo to build a new tunnel. So far, however, the inhabitants seem to have lost their struggle.
(I'm sorry if I sound a bit away from their problems, but, in fact: The elevated track offers several excellent opportunities to photographe trains!)

Two different high-speed trains side by side at Oslo Central Station! An airport express of class 71 (left) is awaiting its departure, while the LINX emu of class X 2 (right) just has arrived from Stockholm. LINX is a joint venture between the Norwegian, Swedish and Danish Railways, operating the passenger expresses between the capitals of the three countries.

Flughafenzug (FlyToget) im Bahnhof Sandvika. Diese Zuege verkehren zum
neuen Flughafen von Oslo in Gardermoen, die in der Naehe der Innenstadt
verkehren sie auf weiten Strecken in Tunnels, die z. T. ueber 10km lang sind.
Die Zuege weisen von innen einen gehobenen Nahverkehrsstandard auf.
Insbesondere die angenehme Inneneinrichtung aus Holz ist erwaehnenswert.
