Signatur Bm73 013 at Stoemmen Depot on May 19th, 2006.

| NSB unit BFM 73113 in Bergen, 2005-08-11. These trains were originally called "Signatur" and could only be used with reservation and a special surcharge, nowadays they are open for all passengers. After initial problems, it seems that the tilting system is working again, but the timetable doesn't seem to depend on it. |

A class 73 intercity express bound for Trondheim speeds up at Hamar 27.02.02. These are tilting trains with a maximum speed of 210 km/h. The colour scheme indicates the product label "Signatur"; meaning long distance express trains with fewer stops and a high level of comfort.

An Emu of class 73 “Signatur” passes Hauketo south of Oslo 11.03.2003. Two weeks earlier, this particular trainset had been slightly damaged in a collision with a truck, and the picture shows the train on its test run after having been repaired. “Signatur” trains are normally not used on the line Oslo-Halden, as the intercity service is covered by class 70, class 73B and locomotive-hauled trains.

Several times In 2004, service on the western corridor (Oslo-Drammen) was limited due to building of a new double track between Sandvika and Asker. Therefore, a number of trains were redirected to the line between Hønefoss and Roa. Normally, only a modest number of trains use this 32 kilometres long, singletracked connection.
This picture from 19.07.04 shows the morning express Bergen-Oslo; consisting of an Emu class 73, just after its departure from Hønefoss. The magnificent arch bridge dates from the opening of the Bergen line in 1909.
