NSB electric locomotive El1.2011, built 1922 by Thune's Mekaniske Værksted, Kristiania as one of a class of 24. Maximum speed 70 km/h, two ASEA SJ1103 motors with a total power of 690 kW, length 12.7 m, weight 61.3 t, tractive effort 157 kN, wheel arrangement B'B'. NSB electric locomotive type El 1 No. 2011, built 1922 by Thune and Per Kure for Drammensbanen. Later it was used on the lines from Oslo to Kongsberg, Larvik and Stavanger. In total 24 locomotives were built 1922 to 1930, this was NSB's first series of electric locomotives. They have similarities to German locomotives such as the Bavarian EG 2 and Prussian EG 511 to 537, with a central motor in each bogie driving the wheelsets with rods.
