Taken over by the company Ofotbanen AS (OBAS), 5 units of former NSB class Di 3 were intended to do their main service north of the Polar Circle. The last year, however, further operators have got the opportunity to take part in freight transport in southern Norway. Therefore, OBAS diesels can be seen frequently in the areas around Oslo.
