| NSB type 27a 234, built 1912 by Thune, in service until 1969. 17 of this type were built 1910 to 1921 for express trains on lines of light axle load such as Smaalens, Kongsvinger, Eidsvold-Otta, Røros and Solør lines. NSB steam locomotive class 27a 234. Wheel arrangement 2'C h2. Speed 75 km/h, weight
39.2 t (53.7 t incl. tender), 1600 mm diameter of driving wheels.
Built 1912 by Thunes Mekaniske Verksted and Hamar Jernstøperi as one of 17 units
for fast trains on lightly built lines (only 9 t weight per wheelset). Built for
Smaalensbanen, Kongsvingerbanen and Eidsvold-Ottabanen, also used on Rørosbanen
and Solørbanen. It remained in service until 1969.
