NSB 49c 470 "Dovregubben", built 1940 by Krupp, Essen, according to plans of NSB and
Thune, Oslo, in service until 1962. This was Norway's biggest steam
locomotive. Axle arrangement 1'D2', driving wheel diameter 1530 mm, four cylinder
compound engine, speed 90 km/h forward, 45 km/h backward, weight 143.1 t.
Despite all the glass windows, not much can be seen from outside this specially built
house.
