Polish emu PKP EN57-1537 stays on Grodno station. 9.08.2001. On the front view the "two-in-one" track can be seen. The central one is the european standart (1435 mm) and the wider one is russian standart (1520 mm). This diffirence appeared when the first railroads were just being started in Russian empire in middle of XIX century. This was used to complicate invade for Prussian or Gabsburg empires. Also it helped during the Great Patriotical war in 1941-1945. And still the trains from Europe should switch the road width on the special platforms such as placed in Brest and Kuzniza.
