In 1936 the new model of steam locomotive for very fast passenger trains was designed. The model won the Grand Prix on the exhibition in Paris in 1938. That model (Pm36-2) was specially built with aerodynamic shield on the locomotive and tender. Unfortunatelly it had lost during IInd World War. The second one was renowed in 1995 (sic!) and it still reaches maximum speed of 130 km/h. Pictue shows the only Pm36 in the world (Pm36-2) in Wolsztyn, while set off to Torun for the parade.
