Poland – 2-8-2T Tkt48 11 has arrived at the delightfully ornate station of Radkow, 
sited in what was once Germany, on the last remaining section of a once-extensive 
Kreisbahn system. The single coach that shuffled up and down the short branch from 
Scinawka Srednia just twice a day, was amazingly, a First Class Couchette, the pull-
down bunks of which were fully equipped with bedding and spare bedding was stored 
in various cupboards! Sadly, but understandably, this wonderfully archaic line and 
service has long since been closed. 5 September 1984
