The old traffic control board of Lousado, from the narrow gauge era. It shows the connection between the line from Guimaraes and the line towards Nine (for Braga and Valenca do Minho) that no longer exists.

The museum is located in the old workshop at Lousado. This still has narrow gauge tracks although all railways passing through Lousado have been rebuilt into Portuguese broad gauge.

The old workshop shows many tools that were used for train maintenance. These were all driven a steam machine, connected by belts.
