Coimbra, settlement of portugals oldest university, is situated at the "Linha do Norte". This is the terminal, situated in the centre of the city, for the regional trains to Porto, Figueira da Foz, Entroncamento and the Beira-Alta-line. The direct Lisbon - Porto trains are calling at the Coimbra-B railway-station outside the city. <br>
