This motorcar was one of a series of 12 (250-261) constructed in 1928/29. They had 8 windows each side instead of 7 as most other 2-axled Porto-trams had. Two others (252&258) of this series went to Buenos Aires (Argentina).

This trailer was constructed in 1946 as one of a series of 6 (25-30). Five were converted into motorcars series 400-404. One was scrapped after an accident, the other five were converted into motorcars series 400-404.
