Zigoneni, Romania
C.F.R. PO Zigoneni (PO = Punct Oprire = Stop point) This station was closed in 2009 (no train stops here anymore), although it's in the middle of a village, so it could generate passengers. But the van ("maxi-taxi", freight vans converted into minibuses) drivers have to leave, aren't they? In fact, all state-operated lines (even main lines) have bad connections and bad timetables, so the buses and minibuses are always full, even if theyr tickets (what tickets, you won't get such thing in a minibus, except the days when controlls are made) cost 3 - 4 times more then a trin ticket. More pictures (over 1300) with Romanian stations.
