Abt rack adhession locomotive 40.001 seen on 31 August 1970 with a Subcetate bounded regular passenger train at the former station Portile de Fier(Iron Gates) located on the former Caransebes-Boutari railway. Since 1978 the rack adhession segment Boutari-Hateg has been closed and subsequently the rails and signals were removed because the line is paralel with the national road.
