The station of PRAHOVO just near the Danube bank on the north
of the East Serbian region "Timocka Krajina". Close to Prahovo
is located the hydro-power plant "Djerdap 2", one of the largest
hydro-electric power plants in Europe. Prahovo has also a chemical
industry ("HIP Prahovo").

The station of PRAHOVO just near the Danube bank on the north
of the East Serbian region "Timocka Krajina". The railway line
terminates at the station of PRAHOVO PRISTANISTE (PRAHOVO HARBOUR)
- the next station. There is a project to extend this line to
Romania; the rails will cross the Danube over the hydro-power plant
"Djerdap 2". So the current railway line will become an international
line.
