LINX 399 Oslo-Göteborg passing the suburb of Langhus 21 kilometres south of Oslo a wet afternoon in July 2002.  The express passenger trains Oslo-Stockholm, Stockholm-Copenhagen and Oslo-Göteborg/Copenhagen are operated by the Interscandinavian company LINX AB, the shareholders being the national railways of Norway and Sweden.

The plan is to introduce high-speed emus of class X 2000 also on the Oslo-Göteborg line, but Rc-hauled trains consisting of Swedish coaches are still used today.
