Statens Järnvägar E 1189, built 1914. One of 130 locomotives built 1907 to 1920. Wheel arrangement D, two inside cylinders, speed 65 km/h. The locomotive could pull heavy trains on lines for which other types were too heavy (axle load 12.5 t). Some received an additional axle to increase speed and improve the ride.
