GDJ N3 62 was built by Vagn och Maskinfabriken in Falun 1928 for the private railroad Gävle-Dala Järnväg. The GDJ was nationalized 1948. The mfGDJ (the current owner of this locomotive) is celebrating the 150th year since the birth of the railroad in 1859 between 8-12 july 2009. This photo was taken at Hagaström, a few Km from Gävle Central during the celebration of 150 years of railroading in Sweden.

Steam locomotive class Ca number 198 "Breda" was built by Borsig in Berlin, Germany, in 1875. It operated passenger trains until 1925.

Express passenger locomotive type Cc number 404 was built by Nohab in 1892 and operated for 15 years until replaced by superheated locomotives. It was finally withdrawn in 1929, and operational again from 1987 until at least 2006.

Steam engine VGJ 24 built 1911 at Kvarnabo station at the 14 km Anten-Gräfsnäs Järnväg, AGJ. www.agj.net AGJ is a remaining part of Västgötabanan, VGJ, a 891 mm gauge railway Göteborg-Skara-Mariestad-Gårdsjö. VGJ was opened in 1900, partly re-gauged to 1435 mm in the sixties, closed for passenger traffic 1970 and the last part was closed about 1985
