A detail of freight car of ZSSK.On 1-st January 2002 year the ZSR (Slovakian Railways) were split up. The "new" ZSR is now only responsible for the infrastructure, i.e. tracks and stations. Trains are operated by the new company and in nowadays this company is called ZSS (Zeleznicna Spolocnost Slovakia) , officially abbreviated ZSS or ZSSk.
