Istanbul Sirkeci TCDD station This is the front entrance to Istanbul's Sirkeci TCDD station. This station is on the European side of Istanbul. Here, Banliyö trains head westward, past the airport and into the suburbs of Istanbul. Also international trains to and from Western Europe terminate at this station. Fares for the Banliyö system are paid for with tokens. Tickets can be bought at both terminal stations, and at some newsstands. Akbils are also valid. However long distance trains need to have actual paper tickets. This train also has the international night train to Bucharest, Romania, from a track adjacent to track 1, which is a long way from the ticket counter.
