The system was opened in 1983 with 15 trolleybuses of ZiU-682 
(#101-115), which operated a few years and then were sent to Poltava and 
Sevastopol. From 1984, the city started to buy Skoda 14Tr, which 
received numbers from #116.<br>
At present, the system has 9 routes and served by Skoda 14Tr, YuMZ T1, 
YuMZ T2, and one low-floor LAZ-E183 (#176) (supplied last year).
