During week-end, other "steam specials" are organised by I.G. HSB e.V., including...
- june 29th... train using Traditionszug equipment from Wernigerode to the Brocken hauled by 2 Mallet's in "double traction"- june 30th... train from Wernigerode to Gernrode, i.e. 176km return trip hauled by Mallet + 060T 99 6101: allows 2 hours free in Gernrode to allow visit of the cathedral, and a grill will be available in the station for rustic lunch ! If you plan a visit to the Harz narrow-gauge, this is the week-end of choice ! |

- GmP Güterzug mit Personenbeförderung, i.e. mixed train consisting of...
2 O open high-side 2-axle cars, as well as... 2 passenger cars and a baggage car - add'ly, a Wernigerode - Stiege special trip with railbus NWE T3 is planned too. Many details still need to be confirmed: prices, timetable, etc... This will be a super opportunity for car / truck / tactor / etc... collectors from everywhere to come and enjoy the show, and possibly demonstrate their machines, maybe for the last time in the year
