LG operates passenger and freight trains in Lithuania. The main freight flow is from Russia to the Baltic Sea ports. In 2009 4.4 million passengers travelled with LG (14% less than in 2008) over 357 million passenger-km. Freight traffic amounted 42.7 million tonnes (22% less than in 2008) producing 11.9 billion tonne-km.
