A historic ballast car of 1896, standing in front of the Talbot works in Aachen as a monument, seen on 26 May 2003. These ballast cars with the possibility of unloading either to the side or between the rails were built by Talbot since 1891. Today Talbot belongs to the canadian Bombardier group.

The sign in front of the historic ballast car at the Talbot works, seen on 26 May 2003. It says that these cars were built since 1891 and that this one is from 1896. These cars with several unloading possibilitys helped Talbot to become famous. Additionally some technical details are given on the sign.
